Stucco on the North Wall
This is the last big project to finish the house. Sure, the patio and fence are left, but this completes the house proper.
Now that the bedroom and dining area windows and the patio door have been replaced, it's time to get the back wall stuccoed. I'm using the same company that did the work on the west wall. Despite the windows, I think this one will be easier. It's just an eight-foot wall. Once again, I'll be adding foam insulation behind the stucco, but probably only an inch. That insulation, along with the new double-pane windows, will seal up the house nicely.
The only issue or problem I can see is that the bottom few inches of the siding to the west of the patio is a bit spongy. That might have to be removed, but that's about it. I think that can be cut out and won't otherwise affect the installation of the stucco.
